EXIT REAL ESTATE - JONES & ASSOCIATES has made arrangements with ProSchools Institute for people interested in becoming a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Washington.

What is it?

In order to become a licensed real estate salesperson in the state of Washington, students must complete a pre-license course called Real Estate Fundamentals. The course entails 60 hours of interactive learning. EXIT REAL ESTATE - JONES & ASSOCIATES offers this course on-line, so if you have internet access at home, you can do it at your convenience on your own time. At the end of the 60 hour course, students will take two certification exams. Upon passing the exams, students are then eligible to take the Washington State Department of Licensing exam in order to receive their license.

How long will it take to complete the course?

Because the course is a self study course, you may go totally at your own pace to complete the 60 hours. What one student may complete in two weeks, may take another six months to complete. You set the pace.

When can I start the course?

Again, because it is a self-study course, students may begin the course at any time. Upon registering at our office, the student will be given a set-up CD to install on their home computer, as well as their username, password and textbook so that they can begin the course that same day. A text book is included in the fee and will be available to the student within a couple days of registering.

How much does it cost?

$250.00 payable with cash, check or credit card. The fee covers the installation CD, on-line access (user name and password), text book and the certification exams.

What do I do after I pass the test?

EXIT REAL ESTATE - JONES & ASSOCIATES offers in-house placement, as well as extensive training with the additional information needed to become a qualified, knowledgeable and successful Sales Associate. The training covers a variety of "nuts and bolts" subjects including listing and selling paperwork, prospecting, closing techniques and overcoming objections just to name a few.

The training is offered by Sabrina Jones-Schroeder who is the Managing Broker at EXIT REAL ESTATE - JONES & ASSOCIATES and has been in the real estate industry since 1990. She is a certified instructor for the Washington Department of Licensing, is on faculty for the Washington Association of REALTORS, and teaches locally for the Spokane Association of REALTORS.
